Food Lion to Hyco Corner
The Mathews Main Street Committee is working with the County Board of Supervisors to submit an application for Transportation Alternative (TA) Funding to complete the second potion of enhancement of Main Street. The application requires a resolution of support from the governing body. It is proposed to obtain input, both from the Board and citizens of the community, in time to submit a final design for TA funding by the October 1, 2019, deadline.
Under contract to the County, VHB has prepared a draft layout plan showing proposed turning radii, street widths, parking spaces and crosswalk locations. We invite you to review the draft design and provide input to the following questions.

Interested in Being a Vendor?
Would you like to be a vendor at this event? We are interested in vendors who sell in these categories: furniture, home decor, clothing and accessories, jewelry, bath and body, pottery, artisan goods, etc. We seek quality vendors who can bring something unique to the market! Vendors are not welcome to sell items that are considered inflammatory, political, or offensive. Vendor booths and areas surrounding them must be kept clean. (For items that are baked or grown, please apply to the
Mathews Farmers Market instead).
Vendors are allowed a 10’x10’ space and must provide their own canopy/tent, tables, and implements to tie down their tent. Vendors should be set up by 10am and breakdown at 3pm. Vendors must move their cars off of Main Street to provide parking for attendees. Participation fee is $10.
